Well, I am actually trying to ask J-hulk for his e-mail add. I want to show this to him first before I post it. But since good 'ol Sherm already asked (implied?) me to do so, I posted it yesterday. Smile [:)]

I am happy that all of you liked it. Thanks again to Sherm for being a good sport and J-hulk for lending me his E-100.Although I think it looks better with Sherm than your German fig in front of it.Wink [;)]

Still lookin' for a good background for wipw...Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D].(just kidding.)

Yeah, it was great. After the Canuk Army Base, we hit the donut shop (yeah, yeah, we've heard it already!!), then drove around looking for model shops. Didn't find any open though Sad [:(]

I had a lot of fun. Don't know about poor Robert, though, he had an hour and a half drive each way added onto it.

Wipw,

Glad you enjoyed it. Something to break up the hum-drum.

Thanks for the compliments. I kinda cheated on the zim, but fitting the hull was no picnic. (some alignment issues)

Sounds like you and Sherm had a nice little adventure.

See ya,
Jim

Hey, what do you mean, "What am I doing??" It should be obvious...I've got Sherm right in my sights, and in German armor, too! You guys are way too funny. I've got tears running down my face! (Getting strange looks from my co-workers!!) I missed seeing this before and just picked up on Robert's link from the other post. Thanks for making me laugh so (I need it here at work).

Oh, and the Sturm looks really cool. I like the way the zim worked out. Looks much nicer that what I've been able to achieve with the photo etched stuff.

btw, it was really fun riding on the back, Robert kept throwing won-tons back to me!

I figured that the work Dwight went through to do this compilation, it needed to be posted and shared with the rest of you.

I must admit these new German boots I'm wearing are very comfortable.

Build22 - it's nice to be associated with BoB ..... but if the world is depending on Bill and I ..... look out.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

I'm proud to have my ol' E-100 used to prop up Robert!
Geez, that really looks good, doesn't it? Great job, Dwight!

Tigerman, I really can't say. But you know these are the hottest 1/35 items since they invented plastic and you're bound to bump into one of them in one of those bidding places.

Just keep on searchin'...

Well Sherm, I didn't really want to post it here but since you seemed to have approved it already...here goes.Big Smile [:D]

You said all the VP 1/35 figures have been sold out. But I tried to check whether there are still available somewhere else. My search brought out a very strange result...

Nice one Horus.

As for getting the Verlinden Sherm-man, I too was told they were not in stock. I was thinking of converting a stay puff marshmallow man...

Hey Build, you going to put that in a diorama or just on a display base? Nice work on the Brumbar.

Seriously now,

Hi Build22, I forgot to mention earlier...nice build. Looks like we're in for another good one. You brought us much needed laugh, too. You know what could be better than this? A thread dedicated mainly for builds of those guys lucky enough to get that Sherm figure. Just kidding Sherm. (ha-ha-ha-ha)

Anyway thanks for being a good sport, Sherm.

Actually I might still have that band of brothers shot if I didn't erase it. I'll check.

SF,
Thanks for being receptive to a little kidding. Really, it's great that all these people have this kind of interest and respect for you. I think it shows how many people you have influenced. Thanks for being there.

If you had a picture of your wife we could work her in as part of a diorama.

And I'm putting my Sherm-man up for bid on e-bay, so get in line to bid

Tigerman & Moses - Thanks for the comments.

Moses- I have a Dragon brummbar as well. I'll compare the two once I get to that one. Yeah, there's no reservation in posting now.

I too tried to order a Sherm-man figure and they're sold out with no predicted ship date. It seems that orders have far outstripped the production capabilities due to a resin shortage, or actually due to the amount of resin needed to cast the figure.

They told me they were able to cast one, (build22 got it) and that took their entire years worth of resin stock.Big Smile [:D] Big Smile [:D] Wink [;)]
