i like it !!!! where can i get one ?
my personal bit of weirdness would be an italian tank painted in a camo pattern inspired by the pucci dress nicole kidman wore on a recent photo shoot ( it's all pink and yellow swirls)... i'm sure i can find a nice italian tank, but where am i ever gonna find a 1/72 scale nicole kidman figure to display with it ?

Good one Brian, 128mm with a Hetzer.
I don't get all the S-tank lovers out there, ugly tank! Of course, management doesn't side themselves with the writers comments.

Yeah Tigerman, that's exactly what I was thinking. Something we might actually see one day!
TeddyA, I think you meant 128mm gun with a Hetzer, didn't you? Heh heh!

Brian I like the idea of an Abrams in OD with the big star on it, kinda pays homage to the Sherman and other US tanks of yesteryear.

The Jagdpantherish Jagdtiger would be interesting to see, although it doesnt sound like an overly difficult conversion. Now if I wanted to see something really wierd, how about mounting a Sturmtiger gun on a kubelwagen. That would be like trying to breed a Chiwawa with a Doberman.

J-Hulk - S-tank with a turret!
You cracked me up with that one
Guess it would look a bit like a BMP 2 then
Happy Modelling

A paladin with reactive armor, some type of rocket pods on the sides that fold out when ready to fire,
a gatling gun for the chief to use instead of the .50, take the .50 and put it on the gunners side hatch and then you have a highly survivable howitzer crew!

OK, OK, how about a Sturmtiger with the big mortar replaced with a 128mm cannon? I reckon you'd have to rename it Jagdtiger I.
Or how about an M1A2 in solid OD with some of those big retro white stars in the white hoops?
Hmmm...what else would be interesting...

Neat idea J-Hulk, but might the 128mm tip it forward? LOL
I like the thought of a Tiger III.

That' sounds pretty cool!
I've seen plans for a Tiger II with a 105mm gun in the turret. The turret was unchanged, however.
How about a more Jagdpanther-ish Jagdtiger? That is, a Jagdtiger with a fully sloped hull front.
I suppose at first glance, it would look just like a Jagdpanther, though.

Put a 128mm gun on a King Tiger, lengthen the turret by half. Might be a good project...the Tiger III

Thinking about Redleg's Sherman with the M1 turret... I've tried this....
Want a giggle? Pull an M1 and Sherman off the shelf, take the M1's turret off and put the Sherman turret in its place... If you can keep it from falling into the hull! The M1 turret is almost the size of the Sherman hull!
A "Humvee" with full tracks (I've seen them with 4 tracks.. one in place of each wheel. Where's my camera when I need it!?)

A Panther hull with side shields like a Marder or Hummel with an 88mm gun. or an Elefant casemate with a Tiger II hull and wheels.

Hmmmm....
Ok: how about some kinda nutty field mod with a German 88 installed in a Sherman? Any kind of Sherman would do.
Remember, I said "some kinda." I have no idea how anybody could get an 88 in a Sherman.
But it'd be cool, no?
Heck, the Israelis got that loooong French 105 in a Sherman, so why not an 88?

I'd like to see a Leopard painted in the late WW2 ambush pattern. Or a T-55 with an Abrams turret mounted on top.

Almost as many guns as a Russian T-35 Heavy Tank.........but probably more useful.
How about a Scorpion or Saladin turret on a M113? Ooops, I think we Aussies did that
happy modelling

If I had to design one, I'd do something like this.
Maybe it's just me, but I think that it could take a Sherman and a Tiger at the same time. Maybe even a Merkava. Abrams would be a stretch, though.
