frosty,
The tank is from Forge World. Solid resin, it runs about $250. It is huge, though.

How about an S tank with turret and side sponsons?

How about an M-5 Stuart Chassis equipped with a Vulcan ADA turret as an advanced recon vehicle, in a Treebark or other type of civilian hunting camo pattern.

QUOTE: i like it !!!! where can i get one ?
my personal bit of weirdness would be an italian tank painted in a camo pattern inspired by the pucci dress nicole kidman wore on a recent photo shoot ( it's all pink and yellow swirls)... i'm sure i can find a nice italian tank, but where am i ever gonna find a 1/72 scale nicole kidman figure to display with it ?

I'd happily settle for a 1:1 scale Nicole Kidman. I wonder if Tamiya does a full option version?

How about taking the main gun off an Abrams and replacing it with the 30 mm Avenger cannon out of an A-10 tankbuster? That'd give new meaning to "crowd control"

Or maybe modifying the turret on an Abrams or Challenger to take a pair of larger calibre Bofors cannons from some destroyer or frigate.

Thanks Frosty for that translation; I was wondering what my wife muttered to me on our wedding day. Black Eye [B)]Big Smile [:D] Yes, you can bet I won't go near any S-tanks. Wink [;)]

Here's one I've actually seen: M1 turret on an M-60 hull and chassis. I think it was supposed to be for foreign sales. Not sure it was ever marketed, but it sure looked funky!
