Humbrol 75 = NATO Green?...
Posted by Zero Enna on Saturday, June 2, 2007 4:23 PM

I've heard somewhere that the Humbrol 75 Bronze Green is the color to be used for the NATO camo scheme... is that correct?... Is it a close match for the NATO Green... Any help should be appreciated. Most regards.

I think that depends on whose NATO Green you're trying to depict, since each country would have it's own idea of what that colour should be. Tamiya has XF67 which I suspect is the U.S. equiv. From my own research on Bundeswehr colours, Hu75 came up as their colour for the pre-Flecktarn green colour, IIRC. Leave it with me for a bit, I'll come back to you...

OK, found the little book I scribble all my bits of research info in. Humbrol 116 seems to be a reasonable match for the bronze-green in Germany's current tri-colour camo, which is apparently the equiv to RAL 6031.
