Fellow Modelers,

I had a request to post some additional photos of my Stug III.  Thanks for all the input I've already received, hope you enjoy these.

biffa,

Thanks man!  I think dupes said you're the one wrestling with the snow chains or starting some chain brigade.  Did you see the ones I put on my Krupp? Go check them out in my post in armor (Completed projects: Stug III...)

How did you make your chains.  Have any photos to share?

Jester75,

Thanks man!!!  From your list of "on the bench", you ARE a StuG fan! Ever built a Stug III Ausf G Early?  That's on my list.  Any pictures to share?

I like those lists at the end of your bio'Thumbs Up [tup]...I'm stealing that idea and adding it to my bio.  I think it lets people know your tastes, might get conversations going.

Here's to Stug's!!!Make a Toast [#toast]

Jester75,

Just to clarify...not referencing you're work from my bio' in any way.  I just really like how you tell what you're working on currently, and what you have plans to build.  Great idea!Smile [:)]

I'll go check out your stuff soon...thanks for the links.

That is really an outstanding job of weathering. If you decide to do another winter camo one, I for one would like to see you do a step by step tutorial.

Snake Doc',

Thanks for the compliment.  I'm in the "Winter Warriors" group build, I"ll do a tutorial on my Panther G if there's enough interest by the forum members.  I have been getting some real nice feed back on the Stug and would be honored to share how I do weathering and winter camo' on that project.

SMJ:

You are more than welcome, your work is worthy of many compliments, IMHO it is right up there with the greats that frequent this site. I never was interested in tanks until I started reading this forum. Now I have at least 10 tanks to build. In Taiwan there is a company called Skybow that makes them, and I got one  free from a friend of mine. Also the LHS has some interest in this company, possibly co-owner ? Anyway I need to pick up a few practice kits. Thanks for your repsonse and hope you do a step by step soon.

Snake Doc'

I've seen some pretty incredible stuff from some top notch modelers who frequent the Forum.  Thanks for considering my work worthy enough to join that group.

10 tanks!!!, that's quite an arsenal...you'll be busy for awhile.

Just a beautiful winter finish. I always admire a painted result that obviousy exhibits the attention to detail.

zokissima,

Thanks, it's great to have people notice the time spent.  The exhaustive details are what elevates us to the next level.

That's one nice looking Stug.  I did a StugIII in 1/48 a while back in winter white wash and yours is much better than how mine came out. It was my 1st armor since I was a kid. So I would be very interested in seeing your tutorial too.

dupes:  I'm going to start a new post in armor about a winter camo' tutorial, please read.

zokissima:  There is no formal tutorial yet, see comment to dupes, above.  Look in my post, "Completed Stug III, Krupp Protze and Quad Tractor", in there I responded to "kcmat" about the snow on the Stug, and how I did the tarp on the Krupp in response to "the doog".

waikong: Thanks for your comments.  See comment to dupes, above.
