Great looking cover, Robert. Might have to give that a try myself! I wonder If I oughta try retro-fitting one on my old JGSDF Sherman...seems like I can't leave that old tank well enough alone!

Yes,
The M41 would be a nice kit to try the tissue out on. Your 'crew' will be glad you waterproofed the gun mount for them! Also, looks like your project is coming along fine!

J-Hulk, send it back to the shop and have that cover put on there! A nice evening project.

Ron.

Well, let me be the first one to tell you that you did a fine job on the M41. Nothing to be ashamed of. Nice build all around.

Now put your other foot in the darkside.

Chris: Don't leave now. We are very happy to have you here with us.

Littlemoe: It's ok if you want to build a car. Try Tamiya Kubelwagen. 1/16 or 1/35...very nice car. LOL.

You guys are funny!
Excellent job, Ron! That is a very nice M41 you've made there!
I can't tell for sure, but you MIGHT have your tracks on backwards! The pointier section of the rubber pad in the middle of each link should be facing downward when the vehicle is seen from the front. That is, if the crew themselves put them the trax on per the handbook! As you can see from a lot of ref pix, sometimes one or both trax were on "backwards!"

Good build, Ron!

hello! was the M-41 walker bulldog tank used in vietnam war? i was watching my favorite movie, Full Metal Jacket and i saw it there...or was it a different tank? i'm still trying to finish my m-41 tamiya 1:35, painted it already but i want to give it an "old look" painted it with gunze-sangyo olive drab, and i don't know what to do next. it looks like a tank fresh from the factory, what will i do to make it look old? thanks guys! this is my first tank model, the first one was a jeep lol

The -41 Walker was used in Vietnam by the South Vietnamese. The UN forces used the M-48 and M-551 tanks. There were a few M-60's but they were used very little.
