love the decal work on the KV1! Make a Toast [#toast] overall I like them both, I prefer dioramas or vignettes therefore I consider this a WIP Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Many thanks for your kind compliments! I really appreciate them!

dostocos, this is a finished work, not a WIP. A.I. has built several dio's with KV-1 already.

TD4438, this is a Trumpeter kit. I think there have been more than half a dozen of KV-1 variants released by Trumpeter.

Please stay tuned. I'll present a new page and more armors later today. ;-)

Model Manic, I know it is finished, I just like seeing all armor builds on a base even if it is a simple dirt pile. that is just me don't think of it as a criticism just my personal desire Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Both are really nice looking builds, but the numbers on the rear of the Pz. IV G turret are off ever so slightly and the balkenkreuz on the rear panel is slightly rotated as well.

Very nice, model maniac--but I have to agree with Dre that the numbers on the back of the Pz IVG are strangely askew. That's a pretty basic mistake; I would definitely point that one out to the builder.

The KV is pretty nice, and the paint is well done on both!

These are nice works, but Art Instructor keeps on doing a little flaw. I like the amount of mud and the texture he uses, but it should be applied after he paints the camo scheme, not before it.

Many thanks for all kind comments and suggestions!

dostocos, perhaps I should have a makeshift base onwhich to place stand-alone armor for photography. But then again one base won't fit all, I'll need several bases and they all occupy some space...

Dre & the doog, I don't see anything wrong with the number at the back, but I agree that the balkenkreuz on the rear panel is slightly rotated.

telsono, I'll pass on your comments the AI. Thanks!

Model maniac, look at how the numbers slant down to the right on the turret rear--they definitely slant downward on the right side. The numbers themself are fine; it's the way they were placed that need correction!

Of course you don't see it.  AI's work is "always perfect" in your eyes.  That is why he can get away with mediocre work and novice mistakes all the time.  You either don't care, or are more interested in quantity than the actual quality of the piece.  But this is nothing new....Banged Head [banghead]

On second look, I think you're right. The number just doesn't parallel with the horizontal line of the rear plate. I'll tell AI to be more careful in the future. Thanks for your comments!
