Love it, brings back the memories :)

I had a 56 belair for some time in High School.

307 motor from a chevell. 2 4 barrels ( a mess) on an Offenhauser (yes, really) intake I got for $35 at a junk yard, crane cam and fenderwell headers, that were always uncapped. loudest car in town. Red and White in color.

Sometimes I drove it with hardly any brakes.... gotta have a car ya know. walking no fun..

I guess thay made some intake manifolds for us regular hot rodders, I am sure the intake dated me quite a bit.  there is one on ebay, bids are at $132.

its a low rise as was mine.    mine just dumped fuel....did not run good until 4k + rpm....hehe.

guess it was parted out, dont know, last I saw it was about 1975.

it was a "bailing wire special"... that pre-dates using duct tape, you see.
