There's a lot of good one's to choose from. My current TV fave is definitiely the '67 Impala from "Supernatural." Always liked Magnum's Ferrari. And, as someone else said, anything from Mad Max. A couple cars I haven't seen mentioned so far are Jim Rockford's Firebirds and "Spenser for Hire's" Mustangs.

How about that rusted old tanker truck in the TV movie Duel? That was Steven Spielberg's first directing job.

 Quoted from http://www.classiccar.com/garage/blog/index.php?/archives/34-The-Peterbilt-from-Duel.html

The original truck was a 1955 Peterbilt 351 that was hurled off a cliff at the end of the movie so the fate of that truck is well known. However there were two other trucks -- one used as a backup, and another used to shoot additional footage when the film was re-released. The truck used for additional footage is long gone, as is the original movie truck, but the backup truck used just in case the '55 couldn't perform still survives to this day.

The backup was a 1960 Peterbilt identical in appearance to the '55 in all ways except for the air cleaner. Once the production was finished, the truck sat on a storage lot. That was until Neil Losasso came along. He purchased the truck, had it refinished, and drives it on the weekends as a pleasure cruiser -- complete with tanker trailer. The details make for an interesting read at the 10-4 Magazine site.

Definately the deathmobile from 'Animal House'.    RAMMING SPEED !!

and the Pussy Wagon from Kill Bill 2 (actually, Uma was right to bludgeon Buck, the male nurse, to death, just for driving it)  (I did like the interior though)

Sweet!! Great to hear someone else also loves that '67 Chevy Impala from Supernatural. That car is just plain slick.Cool [8D] (Probably why it's my dream-car, now only if I had the money.)

I so disagree with some of that list, most notably the vista cruiser from that 70s show... that just didnt make much sense to me.  Unless the car is iconic and was an intrigal part of every episode plan old normal looking cars dont seem important to me on a topic like this (like the vista cruiser for example) Where something like the A team van that was on there, you know its the A team van just by looking at it. ya know what I mean?

I think the reason the Vista Cruiser made it onto the list was cuz of it being in the theme song?  I dunno.  I don't really get why it's on there either.  The rest I can understand kinda.  The only other thing that puzzles me is why Rockford's car is at number 2?  It was in every episode (at least every one I've seen) but things like KITT and the A-Team's van would be more recognizeable and would probably be more popular with most people.. unless their numbering is just in random order.

My Favorite from tv would be

Starsky's Gran Torino, Hill and Renko's car from Hill street, Kojak's Buick, Mr. Bean's car(model of which I did is in the Gallery somewhere). either of the engines and the squad from emergency.

from the movies

the mad max cruiser, the trans am from Smokey and the bandit, the Deloren from back to the future,
Nothing like seeing "two palm trees humpin' a garbage can"!! That's what we called the heavy lift guys when I was on an EH-60 at Fort Carson back in '91.
I'll never look at garbage cans the same again.

For me the top one has to be, the Mach 5. And of course you have to love the A Team's black van and Magnum's Ferrari. But from the movies, Mad Max's Interceptor... and the original Smoky and the Bandit Trans Am...Mischief [:-,]

i would have to agree with mikael and go with the 67 impala from supernateral. for movie cars i would have to go with the gto and roadrunner from the punisher. the one with john travolta in it not the other ones.

Hi Konig Tiger-

Great topic!!

Back in 1986 a Charlie Sheen movie called 'The Wraith' came out. It was about a road-gang in Arizona that would stop highway travelers with sportscars and force them to roadrace for pinkslips. The gang at some point killed a young man and he has now come back as Charlie Sheen to take his revenge!!  He drives a sleek, black, and deadly super-racecar that at the end of the show is reveled to be a Dodge product.

A Dodge M4S to be exact.  At least that's what 'The Internet Movie Database' is saying. Before posting here I wanted to get my facts strait so I did a Google search and followed it to their website.

I sure that there are pics out there some where on the net, but it's really late (or early) and I'm going to bed.

Again, great topic and remember- Keep your stick on the Ice,
