Your interior looks awsome! Love the color combo and the dash details. Engine is right on too. Looking good man!
That interior tub and grille look great Crown! I like how cleanly you brought the details out on that grille! Wow!

some grill work
Nick.
Thank you Jim
started from the darker blue and worked to the center of the seat with med blue then light blue masking the painted parts as I go. I used model master flat drys faster .The light blue was testors gloss .Then I sprayed model master gloss enamel over all applied thin black wash with tamiya sealed with thin coat of flat clear to get that semi gloss look
Beautiful interior!
"Whaddya mean 'Who's flying the plane?!' Nobody's flying the plane!"
Great interior. How did you do the masking?
Man that looks great Crown! Holeee Schmokes!! Schuuuweeet!!
Thank you Scott gave the body last coat of artic blue still to tacky for BMF any way working on interior and wheels
Love the work your doing on this Crown, makes me want to build a car model from the 60's with all the cool colors and chrome that went into the interior. I also like how you weathered the engine, it gives the right impression.
Scott
been having trouble with photobucket but here are some interior pics three tone blues
Wow!
working on dash board and steering wheel got gauges form best model car parts
Thankyou midnightprowler and rocker. its the 1/4oz testors GI light blue 1108 code.
Great job on the motor! What shade of blue did you use? I'm building 1986 El Camino and I'm trying to figure out what shade of blue to paint the motor.
Engine looks much better. Nice color on the body.
The base coat done more drying time. Next the wet coats now I work on interior
my 1st two mist coats of testors artic blue metalic now some drying time
body is washed and primed with mm enamel.ready for testors artic blue metalic
ok hows this
Kinda looks like a dady long legs dont it
Looks good, just one suggestion, spark plug wiring doesn't rise up from the distributor in a fountain shape, each wire flows down alongside and then usually along the valve covers to each plug. Other than that, she looks good.
here is an up date on the engine all box stock except for distributer and wiring
I must of been lucky I've always use gloss black enamel for base coat then metalizer don't jinx me
If that blue is enamel, the Metalizer will wrinkle it. Best bet is testors steel brush paint.
ok I'll use metalizer since its gloss blue any way
Perfect color. FYI, paint the transmission behind the bell housing steel.
