Nick.
finished up with clear coats some drying time and then BMF
Here is one of the door pannels with bmf
I gave this hood 4 coats of testors brown gloss again this time no dust!! next some clear top coat and right back where I started a WEEK ago to clear top coat the entire body of this four wheeled chocolate eclair lol
What is it with all the 54/55 hoods 'round here that have to go in the "stripping solution" so much? I've stripped my hood three dam times so far and now this! lol
Body's looking great bud.

Ok I messed up the hood out of no where a sliver spot . THERE wasnt enough clear coat to buff out so in the degreaser pit it went . Oh well it happens
Very nice chevy .I have a 72 sting ray that has some carburetor problems $$$ just have to wait a bit. I sprayed 1st coat of mm gloss top coat now a few days drying time
Crown: Man just look at all that chocolate brown. I really like where you're heading with this build and am very much looking forward to the clear going on.
Ernie: Cool car! I've got two stories like the one with selling a car that I've owned for 10+ years. I miss driving mine ................but I don't miss the cost assosiated with the repairs. lol

Excellent work on my favority Tri Chevy. I owned 55 2 door hardtop 210 built at the St. Louis GM Plant in June of 1955. She was all stock, 265 V8, factory power steering, 2 speed Power Glide auto transmission, India Ivory over Cashmere Blue. I adore that car till this day but unfortunately sold her after having her for 15 years. She won a few trophies at local car shows when I lived in Miami.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
I messed on the hood when a sliver spot of dust from blazes on the 1st coat of clear couldnt remove with out damage to base coat so in the degreaser pit it goes for now. Here is some interior pics with brown and ivory.I srayed clear flat on rug and seats to cut down the gloss and made the tops of the seats look like semi gloss vinyl.
Removed masking tape still to tacky for clear coat.
I have another 55 it's a converable and a 56 delray hard top. I did find a 57 maybe i will change from pastel colors to something more flashy ....
Hey !
This is scary .Do you mean there's someone else out there that does them like I do ? You know of course that means you gotta do a 56 and a 57 Too ! Nice T.B.
thanks TB. I painted the rest of the body with mm gloss light ivory a few days drying time and remove tape. I did start on interior here is the semi completed dash.
Supercalifragilistic !
Now that's a Chevy T.B.

Nice looking engine. Is the carb the one that was included in the box? It looks too good for a box carb.
