32 Ford Highboy Roadster
Posted by Mr Mike on Friday, May 11, 2018 9:14 PM

I built this '32 Ford 12 years ago and I decided this morning I would update it. Here's what it looked like back then.

This afternoon I partially disassembled the '32 and cleaned it up and started reassembling the hot rod. I bought these wheels at NNL East, but I forgot who the seller was. They look like Cragar SS mags (my favorite) and the downside of these wheels is that they have no mounts or wheel backs. So, I made some.

The engine is still the same 302 CI V-8 with an Autolite Inline 4-barrel carb and intake manifold.

Hello!

It's a sweet machine! Kinda makes me want to build one myself! The '32 Highboy is my favourite hot rod style. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Mike, a few of those shots looked just like the Monogram 1/8 scale "32. Nice work. I'm rebuilding the 1/8 that I built years ago and was falling apart on the shelf. Hope mine looks as good as yours when done. Wish I could get a set of those wheels and tires in 1/8.

Keep up the good work.Toast

Thank you guys!  I wanted to change the look of this '32 and the wheels and tires really did it.
