Thanks,
John
Ha ha, Thanks Jim
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

On the Bench: Artesania Latina (aka) Artists in the Latrine 1/75 Bluenose II
I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Normally, when I look at a car I see the interior last.
Not this time ! The color you chose for the interior makes the whole car POP!
( And the engine is "to die for" !)
Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"
Thanks Mississippi and TB.
Okay ;
Now you have put me in a spot . I like rods with fenders ! Now , how do I show rate it , being as how we saw you build it and confess your flaws . Awh , heck ! I just will say give it a ten out of ten ! okay ?
Why , cause it's beautiful ! ! !
modelcrazy Thanks Mustang and BK. I forget about SPAM sometimes I'm finishing up 2 kits then starting 2 more. A Swordfish and Prince of Wales. I'll be sure to post their WIP over there as well.

Looks pretty dang good to me Steve! Paint work looks great and you've got the engine detailing down as well. I will say that PE wire looms/ separators really do alot for the spark plug wire routing look and look forward to seeing your efforts with it on the next auto build you do.
P.S. There is an active auto section over at SPAM too ya know.....just sayin.
Thank you Johnny, it didn't turn out quite like I envisioned but I'll go with it. Just more experience and I'm happy with the color. I do have proper ignition wires now for the next exposed engine. Next time I need it invest in some PE I think.
Very nice model. Those injector stacks are really neat.
Your comments and questions are always welcome.
OK guys, I completed the duce. Fun little build. I've been watching Misfit Garage lately and felt like one of those guys modifying one of their cars.
Sorry it took so long, I had a few other things I needed to finish up first.
I agree, that color combo really looks steller.
Interior and exterior color choices are very cool as is all that engine detail Steve!!!
I finished the body painting, installed the interior and attached the body to the frame. Now I need to paint the door handles and a few other things, add the fenders, lights, window frame etc, add some radiator bracing and I think I'll be finished.
Tanker - Builder MMMMMmmm, Model Crazy; How Come ya took a pichire of a car with the hood gone and a wheel fallin off ? LOL.LOL. nice car !

It's a Ford LOL.
Just kidding, I like Ford's.
Gee Willikers !
You better have large fender pads if you are going to finish that engine in place !
Whatta Color .That is awesome . T.B.
I'm still here, I just have been working on the body over and over. I'm not going to put anymore coats on it although It's not as glossy as I would like. The interior is drying right now so I don't have any pictures yet.
Well I say that but you need to see what won peoples choice and the big eagle at EagleQuest this year.
So since I don't have pictures of my poor attempt, I'll let you feast on this instead.
1/18 Revell Mustang GT
I could have sworn I took more pictures of this. I'm sure it will be in FineScale soon.
Thanks John and Mustang. I think highly of ya'll's work so I take that as high praise.
I'm still working on the final coat for body but also added the suspension and glued the engine in. Here's where it sits now.
VERY nice job on the ignition wires and the looms Steve. Engine choice is also very cool.
Very nice! Wiring looks clean.
And using lightening as an ignition coil is pure genius
Thanks BK and Nick,
I cut the generator down to make it an alternator and added the bracket. I also finally attached the wires to the distributor. The plug wires I have is 1 gauge too large, so I had a hard time getting them on it. I had to drill out the entire distributor cap and epoxy them in the hole. The one in the center is for the coil. I'm not supper happy with it, but it'll do.
It doesn't look like much has been done but it was time consuming. I still need to put one more coat on the body because of the decals I had to remove then gloss it. while that dries, I'll start on the suspension on the frame.
Nice very nice my Friend
Nick.
Nice work, Steve. That motor certainly goes well in that kit. It looks great.
I'm back on the 32 after completing the push on the Scharnhorst.I removed the decals, too bad to, they looked nice, wrinkles notwithstanding. I stole the engine from the Nomad, painted and modified it to fit and added spark plug wires. I have some cleaning up to do to it still, but this is what it will look like.
No magic floating generator. I'll add a bracket. I think I'm going to cut it down to make it and alternator instead.
BrandonKDid you try to see if MicroSol would lay them down?
Yes, a couple coats. No good. That's alright, I was able to wet sand one off without too much trouble. After the other one, I'll need to hit the base color just a tad and I'll be back where I was. There are other smaller decals on the sheet that I may try but not sure I trust them now. This gives me some time to assemble the new engine. The old engine will go into the Nomad.I also picked up a $62 Bel Air for $5 that I wanted to rust up in a junk yard, waiting for someone to grab it to restore. That'll be a while yet. I may leave the engine out of it so I'll have an extra Chevy engine.
