Revell 68 Dodge Charger R/T Poopmobile!

Working on this Dodge build while taking a break from the Chevelle's. This kit was a 2-n-1 kit with the option for either a race version or street. I chose the street. Option is a 440 engine, which I painted Chrysler Engine Blue. It also has the option of a 426 Hemi. Revell also included an engine stand you can attach the unused engine for display.

The engine looks a bit tipsy as it's not really mounted yet.

Why brown you say? Why not I say!

Looks flat but hopefully I can polish it up.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but here are thumb's that open up to larger pictures

On my workbench now:

It's all about classic cars now!

Why can't I find the "Any" key on my keyboard?

S'Funny!

I owned a dodge Charger, That vintage and surprisingly, That Color. It was called the (S*&wagon) by my friends because the color. My son upon hearing this one day said "Dad" we have a superhero car" Of course he had to explain. In the family after that she was called the Poopmobile. Ya Know, that was one of the Best cars I have ever owned! Yours will look as good I am sure!

Did some work on the P-mobile thjis evening (Yes, I officialy christened the Dodge with its new name!), Bought some Turtlewax car polish to see what it would do to the dull finish, Just a moment of polish shows a noticable difference! I know, be careful around seams and edges. Can't wait to go back to the Chevelle's do see what I can do with those.

I know there is a bit of compound showing around the trim, but as I said, this was a quick trial.

I also totally missed this seam I need to fix. I assume this does not belong here.

Also worked on the 442 as well, so I will update there later.

Hey Now!

You didn't have to do that. Oh, also I had Dog Dish caps and nice brown wheels. I liked that because with the Blackwalls it took longer for everything to look dirty. The interior did NOT have bucket seats either. I think they sold me the least equipped car in the joint. But a lot of that was remedied After-Market.
