Ping - 1:8 is about as big as I can go. I just don't have a workshop big enough to do 1:3. Plus, all my machinary is set up for 1:8 scale work. Besides that, I can assure you that i'll pull out all the stops for this 126.

Pak - here are a couple shots of the body pieces in their raw carbon fiber. I still have a lot of work to do before they go to the paint booth, but the CF is kinda pretty.

Looks very impressive Andy. That's gonna be one heavy model when you're finished.

For inspiration, have a look at this model:

I want to see you do something like that with your 126 C2.....Wink [;)] Because I know I wouldn't be capable of it.

Oh yes Pak. The body is made out of composite carbon fiber. The driver's tub is cut out of a solid block of billet aluminum. This one's going to be special.

I just started this model about 2 weeks ago. The engine block is all aluminum and 1:8 scale. The heat sheild on the back is copper and scratch built. So far, the block weighs in at about 4 1/2 pounds.
