1/32nd Scale Me P.1112

Here's another of my scratch built Luft 46 projects.  This was an earlier attempt using the same methods as my other models (EF128 and He 1078a) except I used the basswood for the main wings.  I don't use wood for any more finished products, I find that resin or sheet plastic are a better material for scribing panel lines, they leave a much cleaner and uniform line.

The cockpit, seat, windscreen/canopy and landing gear are scratch built, the wheels are from the old Hasegawa Me 262 kit.

Wow, that's some nice work! Love the cockpit.

A very nice model - very fine cockpit! . But I have some hints: Messerschmitt canopies open to the right side (Heinkel to the back  and Focke wulf canopies slide back). The three front window panes are absolutely flat . And the Air intake has a coaxial shape. See my homepage www
