That looks great!  Nice livery.  I did my little 1/200 hasegawa 727 in USPS livery.  beautiful airplane.  I like the look of the Jet engine in the tail like the DC10, L1011 etc

Thanks,

John

    Nice build starwarsdude, 727s were the first commercial jet I worked on outta the military. TAA? Was that a pre cursor to Qantas?

   Keavdog, only passing info not picking a fight, the 3rd engine on the 727 is actually mounted between the #1 and #2 engine pods inside the fuselage, the intake we see is the beginning of what is called the "S" duct. Like you though I also like the tri motors.

Trans Australia Airlines was one of the two major domestic carriers prior to deregulation, the other being Ansett. Qantas was, at that time exclusively an international carrier. TAA was absorbed by Qantas in the mid 90's.

Well;

 What I see here is one very nice looking Bird. First time I flew in one was quite an experience. Whatta Takeoff rotation! I thinght we were in a space-ship!

Beautiful job!  I used to live practically right off the end of the runway in Minneapolis and when 727's would take off you'd have to stop talking for 45 seconds.   not to mention we were so close you could see the pilots head as they flew by.

I do miss those days!
