Nice

I used the same color scheme as you except for the base.

I comtemplated blue (water) but instead went with a muddy brown color.

One of the all-time greatest movie creatures IMO. I think it would have been pretty scary for it's day in the 50's.

It's great to see these old Aurora gems come back. I had a few, but never painted them. Touche on your artistic touches.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Mits: I wondered what to do about the base myself, because the blue seemed a little strange (hey the Creature's walking on water). In the end, since it was for a friend and I liked the bright color, I went with the water.

Post a pic of your's, I'd live to see it.

      Love all the pics and ideas for the Creature.  My only question is what happened to the article that was supposed to be in Sept issue on the Creaqture?
