What year? And where can I find the ''scrambled eggs''?

I don't know what year that the Green Class A was phased out exactly, but I will say no older than 2007 or 2008 at the latest. I was in Airborne units from 1991 onwards so nobody wore those. We already had berets when those went Army wide around 2000 or so. When the Black Beret was instituted I do not know if it completely replaced the Garrison Cap and Service Cap with Class A's or if a Soldier was required to have those as well in Leg units. The Black Beret/Army of One...Hmm

I would say you'd need to find a new cap. Google is your friend. I Googled Kingform cap and immediately came up with their website. http://www.kingformcap.com/

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

The Gold Braid signifies an Officers hat, and the empty ring is where the cap device goes.

As it has no "scrambled eggs" on the visor it is for a Company Grade officer, like htis one

Looks like an Army Officers Class A  Uniform (AKA Dress Greens) Service Hat, from back before Shinseki's Black Beret days...
