Ok lets see if I can get banned properly. I got this joke. No offense to any of the fine USMC guys. I would have been a marine myself if I could have passed the physical. No matter how hard I tried my head wouldn't fit in the jar!Laugh [(-D]

Ok here is the joke. Censored [censored] There was an Army Ranger, Navy seal and Marine Recon guys argueing over who was toughest! To settle the arguement they all agreed to get parachuted on a remote island populated by vicous midget cannibles.Sign - Oops [#oops]

They were all immediately overwhelmed and taken prisioner and when confronted by the chieftain the Army Ranger was given 2 choices for punishment. Death or ooga booga!Shock [:O]

Well death seemed the worst so the Army guy chose ooga booga! He was then subject to horrible perverse acts of Censored [censored] and Censored [censored] but survived and was set free.

Next came the Navy Seal who smiled and said ooga booga pleaseKisses [:X] They had a hard time getting him to leave......

Last was the Marine Recon fellow. When ask he said I cannot shame myself or the Corps and willing choose death.Blindfold [X-)]

The Chieftain smiled and screamed! DEATH BY OOGA BOOGA !!!!!!!!!!

No offense mean't to my fellow veterans...... cockroaches indeed....Laugh [(-D]

stikpusher:

For paratroopers, after getting broken up in sticks, the jumpmaster will designate  a lead man/door position (if not himself) and a stickpusher.  The pusher is supposed to apply forward motivation to the group once the green light goes on and it's time to exit the aircraft. (move the hesitant out the door by group momentum)Shock [:O]Laugh [(-D]Whistling [:-^]

I thought that might be the case. Parachute in the avatar and all...

I have heard "stick and rudder man" for pilots. The things you can learn here. For paratroopers, after getting broken up in sticks, the jumpmaster will designate  a lead man/door position (if not himself) and a stickpusher.  The pusher is supposed to apply forward motivation to the group once the green light goes on and it's time to exit the aircraft. Interesting, and I have never heard your term...lol...the pilot's use of the word comes form the fact that the a/c is controlled by a control column, or "stick" (and rudder) and the pilot just pushes" it around...lol...

On a serious note, I like people who are openly PC, as well as people who like to display the Confederate flag or the Nazi Swastika.

Better to have them out in the open where I can identify them, than lurking in the shadows unseen.

Personally, I think of internet forums as someone else's living room, where there is an ongoing conversation on topics I like to talk about. I don't post anything that I would not say in Aaron Skinner's living room. If he finds my speech offensive and wants me to leave, well, its his house.

If I find someone else's speech offensive, I'm free to ignore that person, or to just leave. Freedom comes w/ a certain amount of personal responsibility.

Cool [8D] Your screen name was one of three that inspired the post in the first place, along w/ Maximus DukusErectus and the unnamed drive-by mentioned earlier.

So I guess I should ask, what exactly is a stikpusher, and what do they do?

My oh my what a quaint little subject. Let me see. Yes swastikas are banned in Europe. I remember buying Tamiya kits in Germany that had the little tiny swasika on the Afrika Korps palm blacked out with a permenant marker also any thing with the SS letters was blackened out right down the liscense plates and instructions. I did see two swastikas in Germany during my two times stationed there. One was on the German WWII naval flag at the Naval museum at Laboe Germany and the other was carved into an old destroyed concrete bunker in the middle of nowhere, ( Even it had been painted over in black paint but the carving was still visible. ) Funny thing though there is no Bill of Rights or Miranda Act, though and the polize are still very capable of using gestopo tactics. Such is the ironic nature of sensorship. Karlan's 7 dirty words has never bothered me but losing freedoms and rights to things like housing associations really stinks. 21 years in the active Army, clean record not even a detention in school but yet Fry's electronics still wants me to show a receipt for what I just purchased at the exit and get bent outta shape when I tell them if they stop me again I'm gonna put that receipt where only there medical doctor can see it. I really hate how we so willing give away our hard fought freedoms and rights in the name of PC. There is my soap box.SoapBox [soapbox] ... I know banned!

Roadkill. Without starting a flame war here, I suggest you research some numbers regarding  documented Japanese vs German WWII atrocities. While both countries certainly did horrid things, I do believe the Nazis, with their actions of trying to wipe out whole specified types of populations killed more people intenionally. I dont beleive Japan ever targeted any ethnic groups for extemination- simply stated they wanted to kick the wetern powers out of Asia and replace them as the dominant overlord. Under a very strict regime. Most Japanese atrocities stemmed from the Japanese mindset towards prisoners and subjugated peoples.

I honestly dont think any country more than 10-20 years old does not have some historical slight against some ethnic group within their own borders, the U.S. included. That is the nature of majority groups in power.

Just some thoughts.

I can understand your stand regarding the stars and bars. Especially concerning your heritage.

I've been told that my user name on this forum isn't pc because it promotes "animal abuse". So on other forums I use the NATO reporting name of my favorite plane, the MiG 21PFM, "FishbedJ". Now if I had been a fan of the MiG 15, I would've definately used a different name.

PC is absolute total crap. I have ancestors that fought for the South during the Civil War. When I chose to fly the Stars and Bars to honor them, I faced a lot of grief from people in the area. At one point I was notified by a lawyer of an impending lawsuit if I didn't stop "displaying in public a symbol of racial hatred and oppression". That was 9 years ago. My flag is still flying. And evidently the instigator of all of this either moved or gave up. I flew it because it represented people who stood up and fought for something they beleived in. They didn't go sit in a corner and cry, they didn't roll over and play dead. They fought for their beliefs. (Before any one starts in on me, the civil war wasn't just about slavery, although thats whats taught in school now).

I feel the same way about the Nazi Germany flag. If you're honoring an ancestor, then it should be allright. Remember, not all members of the German military were Nazis and that was the flag that they fought under. The pre-Hitler government flag would be inappropriate as would the post WWII flag. I find it amazing that the Japanese Rising Sun flag doesn't get more negative response than it does, most of the complaints are in China and Korea, and justly so. The Japanese military machine was responsible for more atrocities on a larger scale than the Nazis ever managed. At least the Germans apologized for their actions.

I smoke, I fly a Confedrate flag, I drive a gas guzzling, pollution causing machine, I fish and hunt and I eat meat. Am I PC? of course not! (I know, I know, BANNED!

Laughing out loud, while reading this all, in the darkness of my cardboard box, down by the river. I'm reminded of a little song I know, that has, in part, this: "When directly viewed, everything is lewd. I can tell you things about Peter Pan, and the Wizard of Oz, there's a dirty old man"- Tom Lehrer, "Smut"

You will never see a "Mothers against cell phone talking", because cell phones, unlike alcohol, are not the creations of the devil.

Mutha, is only half a word.

  Yeah, I know, "banned"

FingersEddie:

Yep we do, nudity is a beautiful thing.

One time, over on the Timelines forum, there was an image of a PiliPil female bust shown as a new addition to their range, this took place last year. The very next day the nipples of it were blacked out! People wondered and asked why, and to cut a long story short the members were told that it was feared that anyone viewin' these images via a computer at work would be caught, and may have to suffer bein' called a 'pervert' by their work colleagues.

One person then went on to give an example of a person in the US bein' taken advantage of in a similar situation whereby a woman accused this person of sexual harrassment usin' his computer and what he was viewin' on it as an indictment.

I couldn't believe it, I laughed so much I nearly *hat myself. I don't post on there now. I mean, if you were ever caught in an absurd situation like this there has to be some sense of humour or rationale involved hasn't there!? Goddamnit!

Anyone can view the same images over on PiliPili's website or anywhere else for that matter, jus' goes to show how pathetic the forum's stand on nudity was in this case! Sigh [sigh]

Aaaaarrrggghhhh!!!11! Banged Head [banghead]

My wife and I both fly on-line with with a virtual squadron in Combat Flight Simulator 2.  We also use the same call-signs we have in that as screen names in the forums... My name has a little history with it,when dating my girlfriend(now my wife of 21 years)she was Christian and I was brought up on evolution. My name is Duke, and my stepfather taught me I came from Homo Erectus...so I came up with" Dukuserectus" to instigate long discussions of origin with my lady, and it really pissed her off when I referred to myself as "Dukuserectus...the new and improved species of man".I now have a seven year old son so therefore I had but one choice for my new name.......Maximus Dukuserectus....and my son is Minimus Dukuserectus.Nothing nasty implied...unless you already have a dirty mind!lol..ooohh by the way,I am now Christian....my wife finally won all of the conversations and converted me!  lol
