Thanks Hercmech!  Yeah I probably couldn't do it again either.  I really like the color modulation style.  It seems to give the model more depth.

The legs definitely show the care and attention to detail you put into this model.  Also, the weathering is just the right amount.  Great job!

Thank you very much stcat!  Still more work to be done so stay tuned.

That is awsome really like the look! How did you come up with the legs ? Are they totaly scratch built? Anyway I love the look . Would like to see more please

Thanks SLW!  Yes the legs, chassie, and hull is all scratch built with some spare parts added.  There is about 4 feet of brass tubing in the legs and chassie alone not to mention all kinds of plastic, wire, scrap PE etc.  The idea for the legs came from looking at a back hoe set up.

Because of a love of robot models, and the recent interest in alternative universe and 1946 subjects being offered by some companies, about a year ago I took on the project of making my own version of one of these machines.  I have a pretty extensive wip on another site, but here are pictures of the progress so far.   The model is about 95% scratch built.  There is alot of parts from the spares box and the turret is a Verlinden 76mm Sherman.  Tell me what you guys think and questions and comments are always welcome.
