Wow, I saw the Fine Molds kits in person once and thought that was quite a sizable Falcon. This one is even bigger? I'm glad I picked up a pair of the Fine Molds Slave I kits (Boba and Jenga with frozen Hans) when they were on clearance.

Many Thanks sir! Yes it is bigger than the old MPC kit and the Fine Molds kits that were produced.

Your attention to detail on this kit is amazing. Just how big is this thing? Is it larger than the old MPC kit? I really like the Revell of Germany box scale one that came out about 11-12 years ago.

A little more mods to my Bandai 1/72 Perfect Grade Cockpit. The figures have been modified to evoke some "life". Han can be seen actually flying the Ship while Ben and Luke look on...Again the pilots seats have been modified so Han and Chewie look like they are flying the Falcon. The Console has been modified to better reflect the console as seen in A New Hope as opposed to the kit's Empire configuration.

So I performed a little surgery on the interior cockpit of my Falcon. The pilot's seats were too far back, so I moved them forward...I also added Luke and Ben standing behind Han and Chewie...Very pleased with the effect!

You have done an awesome job on this kit. Do you know if there is the new square reflector dish for the Force Awakens version? How does this compare to the older Fine Molds kit? I remember passing that one up and kicking myself later.

I'd still love to get this, but I just don't have the space for one!

A fellow 5' Falcon bud, Jaitea from the RPF, did a wonderful job putting my 1/72 Bandai Falcon in the Death Star!

Man everytime I look at this I think it looks better than the ones these used in the movies.

Very nice! How did you make and detail the blaster mark on the top of the hull? it looks spot on.

Wow, your Falcon looks fantastic. Right out of the movie.

I have the Fine Molds kit but it does not come with the lights (although I plan to rig it for lights nonetheless) nor does my inspection of the parts make me think the level of detail matches this Bandai kit. Hmmm, perhaps I should just sell my Fine Molds and get the Bandai.
