Great picks everybody! Makes me want to make some popcorn and watch some movies. Not what I'd call beautiful but the Nostromo has always impressed me. I also liked the Event Horizon.

I'd have to agree with the Cygnus. Beautiful ship.

But the Mothership from Close Encounters is quite beautiful, too.

I think lots of lights or internal lighting have a lot to do with a ship being beautiful.

Do TV Shows count? If so, the Original Enterprise.

That would make a great scene! With his watering can and the light modules lit. Cool ideaWink [;)]

I also thought it would be nice to just make one dome from the ship, with model railroad foliage and a tiny Duey.

I was just wondering what your pick would be for most beautiful studio model from a sci-fi movie. Mine would have to be the victorian inspired Cygnus from "The Black Hole". The slow panning passes of this model took my breath away when I saw this movie at the theater! Shock [:O]
