AMT STAP with Battle Droid
Posted by Bish on Sunday, December 6, 2020 7:58 AM

I starte this over a year ago for the Star wars GB. The build stalled for a while as i got into other builds, but now its all done. Haveing built this years ago i knew the issues with fitting the droid to the STAP. I did try it out to see if i could fit properly, but no joy. So that combined with the height meaning i was restricted to where i could put the completed build, i deicided to go a different route.

All painted with Tamiya and weathered with oils and AK weathering enamels.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking build Bish! And the display base sign finally defined STAP for me. Some Star Wars acronyms have left me puzzled over the years. This one no longer.

Thanks guys.

I thought it might be better to put the full name to save people asking. Plus it makes for a better looking nameplate.

Very cool. Too bad you couldn't get him mounted on the stap.

Thanks,
