Viper Mk VII

Picked this kit up on squadron models last day and built it up over the weekend. This was the 1/72 offering that comes with two vipers.

The kit was a quick build with less than 20 parts and the fit was good with no filler required. My biggest complaint was the pilot was so small it needed a booster seat to see out. The overall color may be a little dark but I am happy with it

Very nice build, how big is it? I prefer their (reboot) earlier Vipers that look more like the 1978 Viper with the red/white motif.

Agreed, but it's hard to top that 70s style of scifi modelling.

That being said nice build! Well done

Cheers,

Josh

Yes, nothing beats the original Viper. It's good that they issued these in a standard scale, much like Bandai and Fine Molds did with their Star Wars kits.

Beautiful! I've had the 1/48 version on the table for a while. I think maybe now is the time to finish it. Whether one prefers the originals, reboots, Mk I, II, or VII, the Viper is one heck of a ship.

That's cool. Yes

I'm currently caught up watching V2 of the show, so your model is fun timing. You have me looking at the Moebius Viper VII. Thanks, I think. Stick out tongue

BTW, like your starry background. Simple yet effective.
