Paramount have announced that the title of the eleventh Star Trek
feature film is to be 'Star Trek: Dude, Where's My Starship?'
The news comes after it was revealed that Johnathan Frakes and
Patrick Stewart would be reprising their roles as Commander Riker and
Captain Picard despite the fact that Nemesis, the tenth installment
in the long-running saga, was tipped to be their last Star Trek
feature.
Preliminary reports suggest that the storyline will centre around the
disappearance of the Enterprise-E after the two men share a night on
the Romulan Ale. Sources at Paramount have suggested that the two men
will embark on a hilarious set of misadventures as they attempt to
find the ship and piece together the events of the previous night.
In a recent interview, Branon Braga was quoted as saying,
"This will be the best Star Trek Movie to date, better even than
Nemesis. After the great work Rick and I did on Enterprise, it really
shouldn't come as a suprise to anyone that we are once again raising
the bar."
Outspoken Star Trek critic and actress Jolene Blalock disagreed
however, saying,
"Before I left the Enterprise set, I was able to get a look at the
draft script for the new movie and I have to say that it is one of
the worst things I have ever seen. Braga and Berman really are the
scum of the earth and the sooner Paramount get's rid of them, the
better!"
In response, Braga was quoted as saying,
"Jolene is a silly cow. She wouldn't know great Sci-Fi if it sucked
the collagen out of her lips. Just this morning we finished shooting
a scene where Riker and Picard discover tatoos on their backs. I wont
tell you what happens next, but I will say it is incredibly high-
concept."
'Star Trek: Dude, Where's My Starship?' is due to hit cinemas in late
November 2015
