Wow that makes me feel oldGrumpy [|(] I had several of the kits as a kid but glue was the worst weapon they could have encountered. Their armor was no match for Testors tube glueWhistling [:-^] I do miss those kits though. Congrats on the score!

Last year I picked up several of these old kits on ebay. I won a Zoltek, the Armored Combat Team, the HUGE Gartan mech, and the equally huge Commando set. At about the same time, I bought several kits from the Dougram series. Interestingly, many of the Robotech kits are Dougram mechs in new packaging.

I haven't been able to bring myself to actually build any of them yet because of their high dollar value, but someday I hope to have a nice little futuristic armored column marching through my home.

By the way, anyone who enjoys the Robotech / Dougram kits may also enjoy kits from the Crusher Joe series and another one called Technopolice. I sure do!

I had a couple of these as a kid. The glue didn't get them, but the firecrackers sure did! They were pretty cool, they had articulated joints if I remember correctly.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

I don't care what they are worth.Once I get an airbrush I'm gonna build 'em.I had a blast as a kid building these kits and should have even more fun now that my modelling skills are a hell of a lot better.

Yeah i still have a couple of the veritech fighters that came in this line. I alos have one caled "Nebo" [i beleive that's it] that was also a transfoming bot that was really rounded. i forgot what actual animae series it was from though I saw the series once when i rented it. Zoltec was always my favorite. i could never find any of the trasports and command teams in my area whwn I was a kid...
