She's either Armstrong (UK) or German built (could be wrong about that).
Much argument about whether a "protected cruiser" or a "battleship" or a "coastal monitor"--but those terms and definitions were in high flux at the time.
From memory, the ship has a ton of wood decksand every kind of gun and mount, which makes for a visually appealing model just filled with "stuff" (if a pain to mask) Wood & steel masts and yards, too. Shrouds but no ratlines.
