im a total noob compared to everybody here but the worst kit iv seen so far is airfix 1/600 scale rodney theres a 1/4 inch gap between the aft deck and the hull!! iv got bismark hood ark royal (my granded served on her r i p) belfast and fearless (my father in law served on her in the 70s) they all seem pretty crap tbh the 2 piece hulls NEVER fit together all of em were bent and the seams are terrible

I'm not sure about the Airfix kits you mentioned, but one really GREAT 1/600 Airfix kit is that of HMS Repulse.  An excellent kit for its day!

check with ebay. i've got both 1/600 repulse & renown from airfix. there is structural issues with repulse.

I have the Airfix Repulse, which is a GREAT kit!  Did Airfix ever release Renown?
