It's here in the UK... Very nearly bought one two days ago, but realised in time that it's too long for my display cabinet... It sells at £39.99 here. Not bad. But a new display cabinet would be 4 times more expensive...

Let's see. Converted to US$ that would be about $68.00. Add shipping to that and... Troy, you just need to take a cold shower buddy!

Revell has informed us that we will not be receiving the items until Mid March. They said nothing about some of them being shipped.

I'm not sure yet where I'm going to get mine yet.

I have 1/72 scale Corvette waiting to be built. I figured I would mount together kind of the "Hunter and the Hunted".

I placed my order way back in August 2003 when they thought the price was going to be around 25.00 and the pre order was 16.99.

Might want to watch your CC statements closely...all a pre-order is with most stores is like a deposit/order fulfillment agreement...You agree to be charged $xx.xx and we agree to reserve you qty:x

LOL, I could be wrong and I hope I am.....If I am you got one heck of a STEAL! LOL

However I wasnt to sure what pre-ordering was when I first did it(They should say reserve)...until I got my CC and noticed I was charged the full price....that was a suprise just didnt want to see someone else possibly be suprised like this...

Folks, we may need an intervention here! Troy, put the rope down and remain calm!

Seriously, I'm interested to see how this one ends up. It seems to me that if somebody advertises a price for pre-ordering a kit then that should be the price.

Come on, what's $300 and 400 hours of frustration among friends??

OK the rope is back on the saddle.....

I have recieved two letters from Hobbylinc that they will honor my pre-order price NO MATTER what the final price turns out to be.

They STILL HAVE A VERY LOW SALE PRICE OF 37.99!!

check it out!

On another board it was posted that a guy got one at our local hobby shop. I called and was told they only had a couple that were for pre-orders that were placed a while ago. They were expecting more in.
Price - about $109.00 CDN.

Well, I placed a pre-order at Great Models for one at $41.00 US so
I am hoping that holds. If it does go to $80.00 or so, I will cancel it.
I can get about 2 1/350 battleships or a carrier for that amount.
