Older Threads?
Posted by tucchase on Friday, December 11, 2009 1:09 PM

Has anyone figured out yet how to get the older threads viewable?  My links to the ones I had saved are all busted, like the "Heller Soleil Royal - Ultimate Building Guide".

you have to click the sorting and filter on the top right of each subforum.  then you can expand the date backwards.  you might also be able to do it in your profile?  but i'm not certain of that one.

Well, I tried that:  clicked on "show all" and "save."  Then I tried searching on "Cutty Sark" and "Soleil Royal."  Still no luck in resurrecting anything prior to October, 2009.

It looks to me like there's some sort of glitch in the works - probably temporary.  It's pretty clear that the old threads still exist.  I'll try again this evening or tomorrow.

The old posts ARE still there, but the Search function is hinky. It will get worked out, eventually. Patience is a virtue! Angel

So long folks!

The problem has to be in the Search functionality.  I did the Sorting and Saved All also and I show 338 pages of posts on the Ship Forum.  The oldest shown on the last page is 12/08/02.

I went the "sort-filter-show all" route, and all the old posts are there. What had me worrying was that I could not "search" and find any of the older posts. So, yes, it appears to be (or have been) a "search" glitch. I haven't tried a search in the forums I've sorted and filtered yet.

At some point, this new city will get a zip code, street names, and someone will draw a roadmap. 'til then I guess we'll just have to play "marko-polo" to find things..........and Oh No!.......ask for directions??

Nooooooooooo!

If you look, the forum still has some bugs in it, so I wouldn't worry for a bit yet. For example, this thread has seven replies, but 0 views?

I put in a note yesterday to Customer Service about all the threads that are now showing 0 Views, whereas a few days ago they all had numbers.  This thread was up over 50 when I saw it then.  No word back yet other than to say they had received my note.
