!/700 aircraft with photoetch props! You, my friend, need help...
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
What's wrong with 1/700 photoetch props? They're pretty big compared to the 1/700 photoetch people :
I agree with you. And my Dr said to take up a relaxing Hobby so I did. Now look what he made me go and do........

Relaxing hobby? Anyway, well done Mark, I've really enjoyed your build and I'm gonna miss watching it's progress when you finish. Have you anything lined up for next?

Jockster.

Thanks for the comments my Friend. I am really enjoying this one also. I will be doing the Japanese GB over on the Gb Thread. I will be doing Tamiya's original 1-350 HIJMS Yamato with the Lion Roar Set and a Wooden Deck. Will be commencing when the Zui is launched.....Cheers mark
LOL you also forgot the Photoetch landing gear and those kits actually come with ordinance.

That's just beautiful work there! I need to go back now and reread the whole thread from the beginning. Thanks for letting us tag along!
And of course you're more than welcome to crosspost the Yamato on the GB and on a separate thread here for those who don't want to follow your build though all the GB posts too!

Fantastic work. Was this found to be an effective camo scheme?
It's been an enjoyable WIP. I really dig the camo job and the PE work. Well done sir.
Eric
Your comments are greatly appreciated Gentlemen. I don't know how effective the Camo Scheme was as it was suppose to give the impression of being another Vessel.....Cheers mark
Here is an aerial view of the similiar type of camo scheme:
I've never noticed this before but that carrier is in a skidding right turn (way out of trim). Kinda cool looking.

Yeah, that's how they do it. It was a strange thing to experience it for the first time when I was a helmsman on the Ranger, to see the bow turn at a different rate than the compass heading. After that, I just kept my head down and watched the compass until the new heading was reached.
