Such a special project .
Amazing building skills.......................................Uh are there any new pictures, yet?
Steve
Building the perfect model---just not quite yet
I know the general feelings about the European HECEPOB sailing ship kits, but I can see some of the skills acquired through building them transferring to a project like this. Also, building the paper-card ships employ many of these same techniques. HMV is currently designing a 1/200 paper-card USS Enterprise that I have been awaiting. Hmmmmm . . . .
Bill
You are right Mike. Bill, the hull is made of wood shapes and ir is covered with 1 mm evergreen sheets. Thank you everybody for your kind comments.
A paper card Enterprise must be amazing Bill. Let me know when it is released ;-)
Actually, if you visit the HMV website, you can read all about it. Just perform a search for HMV paper-card models. Their kits are amazing!
This kit seems to be amazing warshipguy. Probably i will buy when it will be released
I like it alot. That flight deck looks amazing.

Next step: install the arrestor wires.
Thank you very much.
Jorge
Wow! I just hope that I can make my Trumpeter 1/350 kit look half as good!
Thank you warshipguy
Thank you Raider. I am currently lighting the flight deck. New potos son
This build is just amazing!!
Thanks Buckeye
Jaguar1969,
Based on what you've documented of your build so far I can't imagine selling it to a museum for less than 25,000 USD! Of course I have no idea if you really are going to sell it or not, nor do I have any clue if any naval/ship museum would want it or be willing to pay so much, but it sure looks like it's worth it to me so far.

Jaguar--
This is such outstanding work. I cannot wait to watch your further progress here. I'm flabbergasted at the weathering job you did on the flight deck, both from the research and the execution. I'd love to hear more about your process here if you feel like sharing.
Bravo!
Charles
Thank you Mike and thank you Charles for your kind words and for your confidence. I am currently working in the hangar deck again in order to finish it. So new shots soon.
Thank you again
Hello! Those decals are a very interesting touch. I hope you will be able to see enough of them through the elevators. Good luck with your build and have a nice day!
Thanks Pawel. No problem seeing the decals through the elevators. The hangar bay will have its own lights and i am going to install two or three micro cameras inside the hangar.
Hi :
I am glad to see I am not the only one who does plate type construction . Or did you use panels ?
Oh , You'll get there Grasshopper ! Your Sensei .
Hey !
You know what ? I think I'll retire .Looks like scratch - built ships are in good hands .
Thank you very much for your comments Tankerbuilder. I use your method of construction friend. I think that it is the best method and the one that offers the best results.
This is amazing work, Jaguar. Not sure how I've missed this thread until now.
I bow to you, sir.
The youtube video really shows the lights up brilliantly, it's really a masterpiece, just out of curiosity, how long has your build taken you to get to this point? I really love the level of detail in this. Also do you plan to make any other models like this when you finish this one?
Jorge,
Thanks to Dean30 who mentioned it, I just looked at your video from a month ago. Absolutely astounding!! Here's the Utube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQn8hI2imdI

Dean, today i have been working for four years, and yes, when i finish the carrire i will start another model, probably a frigate or a destroyer. Thank you again for your comments.
