rocketman2000

You are way beyond me now.  I have all lower masts and sprit in place, sprit rigged, still rigging foremast.

What your looking at rocketman, is the block & tackel to "lift" the ships boats.  The line that pules the boats off the side of the ship, is atached to the end of the lower main sail yard.  working on blocks and mast caps now.

That stern is a work of art!  The detail painting is stunning!  Are you going to have sails furled or unfurled?  Will be following very closel.

MR TOM SCHRY

Santa, absolutely stunning work!  The detail paining is mind-boggling.  If you don't mind me asking and keep in mind this is from a guy who has two not started 1/96 Revell U.S.S. Constitutions in his stash, why build two side by side?  Once again just beautiful masterful work and please keep posting pictures as you progress with the builds.

TJS   O- I started the first one some years ago in Washington. I bought the one I am working on, on ebay-started. The hull has the worst worp I have ever seen, the decks were un trimed and glued together flat ensted of sloped, the curved piece the ancur cables pass through was missing+and the quorter deck+ one piece of quorter deck cabin face was missing-all of the poop deck cabin face was missing, and one of the box seets that goes up against in was missing, And 14 of the 16 cannons for thows decks were missing.  I have no way to replace the cannons, so I will continue the build with out them.
