Looking at the near perfectly applied photo etch you poured all over this build made me think of when I was a kid, and how I wished I could shrink down to scale to be able to run around on my model ships... I'd of had a ball on this beauty.

OK into the Home Stretch. Antennas, Deck Rails, her Whaleboats, Cats and Crane have now located onboard. SWhould have her finished soon.....Cheers Mark

 In revisiting the photos I discovered that you did an exceptional job on the P.E. rails and associated pieces, ladders etc. Good on you!

Her Mainmast has now been added and both Masts rigged to the Flag Bags. Am Using 3D printed twin Orlekin Mounts. The detail is superb but they are tiny. Will have some more soon.....Cheers mark

        I have to say, That is one very clean build! Almost too clean. I am sorry, but she's so clean you'll have to put a cover on her and donate her to a museum. Absolutely intrinsically Fine work. Kudos on a job VERY WELL DONE !!! The only flaw(If you could call it that,) Your uptakes inside the Stack are too clean!

Her forward Superstructure and Command Bridge are now complete. Now onto the rest of her fitout.....Cheers Mark

Okay!

           Ya forced me ta do it. I am going to pull the trigger and get the thinnest wood deck for my 1945 fit U.S.S.Missouri! That cruiser looks awesome now! There are places on the ship where P.E. is used in place of the plastic.I have wanted an Accurate "MO" for so long I want her right! What brand deck wood did you use?

 

Thanks Mate. The Deck came with the Kit but am pretty sure it was from Pontos. The P/E set has pontos instructions layout say fair bet it from them also.....Cheers mark

OK back to it as Life got in the way. The Foredeck sans some weathering along with the after Cat Deck is now finished. The Cat Area is now fully weathered and am very happy with how she looks. More to come soon.....Cheers mark
