About all you'll find in 1/700 are resin kits. Take a look at Combrig, NNT, and WSW.

Combrig used to focus on Russo-Sino War subjects, but they've branched out into all sorts of subjects. The quality of the models ranges from good to excellent, and they're the most affordable of the resin ship kits out there (on average).

NNT Model is a producer in Germany as well as a hobby shop. They have an interesting selection of kits, but I've never built one, so I can't comment on the quality. It takes some effort to get to the NNT resin kit listing on their website, but here it is anyway.

WSW is another great company whose models are affordable and great to build. They also have an awesome product line if you're into pre-WWI and WWI-era ships.

Although I haven't looked at their product lines, B-Resina, YS Masterpieces, and Delphis Models are also active in 1/700 stuff.

Whew! I was getting worried I'd have to finish each post with "Argh!"

Actually, I'm in the middle of a 1/350 Fletcher DD conversion, from the early round bridge to a late-war square bridge. I've scratchbuilt the square bridge and I'll probably do the waist 40mm boxes tonight.

Not sure which one I'll be modeling just yet, that'll be determined by what kind of painting mood I'm in once the building is done. That's the beauty of having 175 ships in the class!! If I'm feeling lazy, it'll be Measure 22. If I'm feeling really lazy, Measure 21. Otherwise, one of the dazzle patterns.

I think the FSM readers have forgotten that ships are iron hulled!!!

As I look down the list of threads, they're all about sailing ships!! We've been boarded!!

Just kidding of course, it's nice to see that the sailing ship nippers, under the watchful of Prof. Tilley, have found a new home!!

But...I'm going to ask anyway just to stir the pot: Is anyone working on anything WW1 era or later?
