Very nice Sea King and Apollo capsure recovery diorama. What did you use for the water, some kind of ripple texture plastic?

That Rover is just begging for PE.

For one, those are the tires for the 1G test bed vehicle; the actual  LEV (Lunar Excursion Vehicle) had wire mesh tires, the high-gain antenna would be better in PE, too.

I really wish they had build a LEM kit in 1/32 or 1/35 just to keep all the kits at the same scale.

Hmmmmm;

I do have to ask. Why did you leave your car parked in my spot? I have traveled many Kinkliks to get here only to find all this stuff in my parking space. Didn't you get the notice. Andromedan Parking only?

Now that I got that out. You earthlings build some amazing things. The Car was fun to drive. A high tech dune buggy? And that thing with legs. Can it be turned into a Legume truck? All in all fascinating builds.

Gotta ask, whose kit is the see-through edition and was it expensive? All kidding aside I just love what you've done with those models. The only built one I have been able to preserve in all my moves was the Challenger.

I was at the Cape that day! I have NEVER forgotten what a day that became!

Who makes that rover?

Beautiful work.  You've inspiered me to build the Revell series.  I was addicted to Apollo when I was a kid.  Watched the moon landing live.

NIce job.

I like the idea of making one side what you saw in National Geo....and the other displaying the detail of the 'bays' and such.

I built more than a few of the Monogram/Revell box scale/whatever's in the late 60's.

Well after I wrap up the Eduard P-39, I had planned to do an old V2 kit... but seeing this.....well Geeked

Thank you GAF.

Now my challenging is to find a lunar surface base and couple 1/48 astronauts. This kit did not include them like the old Mono version did Angry

Some beautiful work!

As a suggestion, you should either make separate threads for each build, or change the title of the thread to something like "A showcase of spacecraft builds".  People may look in the thread only once thinking it's only the Apollo 1/32nd CSM.  Smile

Well done again!

I just ordered this kit from Ebay.

Any thoughts about the build you could share?

Thanks.

Parts fit are good. You need some putty around fingers area. Most parts need trimming. Other than that it's a decent kit a bit over price imo...

Thanks guys. The build is straight from the box, no extra stuff added to keep cost down :)

Very nice indeed!

Well done.

Is it straight from the box or did you add anything?

Very nice!  I like how you painted the base black to blend in with the background.  Very effective.
