$2.00 diecast HO from Woolies , removed paint and airbrushed como using play-doe as we can't get silly putty in Oz ( the government protecting us yet again!!!!) Finished with One-Go floor polish , same as Future. Any tips on weathering would be appreciated

Flat tan is always an easy weathering step.  Shoot from below angled upward.  Puts a coat of dust on lower portions of vehicles.  Even airbrush over tires.

Mix a lighter shade of the base color and "fog" it on. This will give a more realistic blotchy appearance. The key is to be subtle..

Thanks Guys , I should have put in the paint is Tamiya acrylic , One -go  (Future ) is a gloss finish can I put a flat clear cot over them and then weather ? also can the weathering be removed with out ruining the camo

These are test dummies but the exercise is to get it right so I can take it to the next model

If you over-weather then you can tone it down by lightly spraying the base color back over your weathering. Works really well and even adds a little more "randomness" to your paintjob
