The NoBs Airbrush Factory
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, September 3, 2004 12:03 AM
currently, there's the salty model, which is your typical duel action airbrush, uses NoBs custom nozzles and needles. Can spray a line 1/3" to well over 4"

there's also the 3713 single action internal mix airbrush. Same as before, excpet ther's a trigger limitor that limits it to single action.

there's our illistrater model, the top-of-the-line Woodtek azbeck 1 and 2. The two are identical in every aspect, except the woodtek azbeck 1 uses NoBs nozzles, and the Woodtek Azbeck 2 uses custom finishing needles. Both are capable of extremely fine and extremely coarse lines. The woodtek Azbeck 1 uses your standard 1/3" compressor adaptor, connected to the compressor of your choice. The woodtek Azbeck 2 must be supplied with at a 2hp motor.

More fine instruments will be milled with a cnc mill (actually a monkey with a dremel router) as soon as our designers can spend hours researching the most ergonomic, high performance, and value that money can buy

Sincerly yours,

1337

The Beaver airbrush company listens to customers. We realized early on that the people wanted 2/6" standard connectors instead of 1/3"... even in the nozzle/tip area in case you wanted to use your airbrush in reverse.

you mean the one with the 500 gallon tank? It's included with the Pearl Handled Woodbek Wonder 3137. Oilless, self contained, self powered and best of all it comes with a handy beverage of your choice dispenser mounted to the side. It even makes ice.

and it's powered by rocket fuel now instead of 1 nuclear power facility, so we decided to include a real life space shuttle with our compressor.

oooooh... I loved the '66... I had a '69 SS396 (in my non-modelling life, i.e. 'real') It was the first car I ever owned... ::sob:: my Dad talked me into selling it when I went in the Navy... told me after boot camp and school I would be out to sea...

5 years later I actually SAW a Navy ship... as I drove through Virginia... it was 1 more year until I actually got on one... I bought it for $900... now it would be worth about $9000.00

Now I am depressed....

yes. these airbrush are only available to the members of the finescale forums.

Tho 9900, may we talk about merging, you can have your own department dedicated to manufacturing compressors, and my department will manufacture airbrush. deal?

also, tho9900, according to clause 18.45829083 you must remain with the NoBs airbrush company until you are dismissed by the boss. that would be me.
however, in accordance to the clause 19.823746 line 28 word 982734, that violates clause 18.45829083 so therefore, you may stay in the company, and build compressors.

That's ok.... I will run to a country with a non-extradition treaty such as Uruguay... (I dated a girl from there once.... ONCE...) and hide out and make my airbrushes with sweat shop labor... then once you can no longer face the incoming tide of cheap, shoddy workmanship, but easily replaced airbrushes, I will force a hostile takeover of your company...

You airbrushes will cease to be known as the revered "Woodtek" brand... they will then be known by such names as "Chip" and "Biff" and "Woody" .. thus fooling the public into believing these are your honest to goodness "All American brushes" ... no one will notice the little sticker on the handle that says "Made in Mauritania" (where the h@ii is Mauritania?????) They will sport an embossed sticker of the american flag proudly displayed on the handles... furthering the patriotic frenzy....

What do you say to THAT... Mr. high payed union labor... Mr. "a days work equals a days pay" .... I envision .98 cents airbrushes flooding the market.,.. EVERYone will own one!!! that and my 300 HP compressor which the airbrush will not operate without!!!!!

<insert maniacal laughter here>

Ok I've had enough to drink tonight,, I need to stop before I break out in a rousing round of "Deutscheland Uberalles"... the airbrush version that is...

Tom.... owner and proprietor of the "Woody" airbrush Co.

ooooooooohhhh...ahhhhhhhhhhh.... $20,000... (calculating how many minutes that will buy me with Claudia Lopez in Uruguay... ) (er.. she's the local IPMS rep... )

How about a payoff of 10,000 and my promise never to market the Woody name brand again?

Why don't you guys get to building some models instead of wasting bandwidth on this sillyness. My 2 cents [2c]

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] Yep, been building a model. I got the floor, seats and inside door handles done on the Malibu today. The dash is gonna be some work. I looked at interior pics of original 66 Chevelles, and it turns out I'll be doing a good bit of chrome strips on this interior.

I don't really like the all red interior on the box art, so I'm doing a black & red interior with gray floorboard plus chrome strips. So, there's some red in there but nowhere near as much as the box's all red interior. I'm also adding inner door panel details because this model has none.

Only another week and a half until I can polish the solid black painted body!

Chevelles, GTO's and Monte Carlos are my favorites. I've had two Monte Carlos so far, and one of them is what I drive now. I never have come close to aquiring a Chevelle or a GTO though. There are a couple of SS396 models out there if you ever wanna build one :D

There's an AMT 1969 Chevelle SS 396. I believe there are two boxes of the same model. One shows a white car with flames, and the other is a blue car.

Here's a new issue: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2582&item=5919144424 <- that model should be in stores. It's Revell 2183, a '67 Chevelle SS 396

Ebay is the only place I can find 'em. Hobbytown near me only had one box of a '66 Malibu & I bought it. There's a Revell '67 and a Revell '65 Z-16 in there now. I just browse to the "Models, Kits" part of Ebay & do a search for "SS 396". It gives a full page of Chevelles & a couple of Camaros.

I built the '69 (the AMT one) when I was 17. It was before I knew how to do white paint on car bodies. I remember thinking, "this is such a nice model, it's too bad I decided to attempt to do it in white". So, I'll have to build that one again some day too.

That's sorta like the color scheme of the interior I'm doing for the Malibu. The seats are mostly black down the centers with only the edges in red. The back seat has red edges and a red stripe in the center. I wanted some red in there, but a completely red interior in this black car was just not doin' it for me. It's got a gray floor pan with black door details.
