Congrats on your decision - my 200 serves me very well. Try and get the colour cup if it doesn't come in the kit otherwise you have to mix large volumes of paint every time you want to spray. Enjoy!

Well, not really! All you have to do is replace the siphon tube, although I'm not sure that's possible with the newer all-plastic caps. The old-style metal caps have a tube that slips over a little nipple in the cap.

What I did with mine was to use a piece of tube longer than the one on the cap. I heated it with a heat gun and then bent it so that it angled toward the corner of the bottle. I then cut it off so it just barely cleared the bottom of the bottle when the cap was screwed on, and I can suck up virtually everything in the bottle.

What you could probably do with the new all-plastic caps is find a piece of tubing that slides over the existing tube and modify it like that.

A Badger 100 would be great for fine work-sometimes you need more than one. I have 5. But the Badger 200 is a very good 'brush. Just keep it clean, don't mix media and get a pressure regulator and moisture trap fot your compressor (or for your bottled air).

Actually compressers were the next question on my list......

Can anyone recommend a compresser which incorperates pressure requlator, moisture trap, quiet and (hopefully) at a relatively reasonable price???

Sidders-I have a Badger 'Air Force' which is good-but expensive. But any compressor can be fitted with a moisture trap and regulator.

trowlfazz is correct in that you should someday own more than one airbrush.I have umm more than 7 but for different uses but models I use three, a aztec that went to testors for a broken whatever in the body ( I like the idea of changing the nozzle tips and 5 different paint cups, but breakage seems normal) so I have my backups that are truly easy to use and clean. They are tha badger 100xf and the 150 that has med and large tips, what is cool is that all the heads fit both guns. the 100xf is a cup design and the 150 uses a bottle. the 100xf is cool I have two different size cups.
