HERE'S MY COMPLETED SPRAY PAINT BOOTH: COST $160 AND IT GIVES ME A LOT MORE ROOM THAN THE EXPENSIVE ONES.
THE SEE THRU PART IS PLEXIGLASS WITH THE BOTTOM HAND INSERT PANEL GLUED TO IT. iT IS HINGED AND SWINGS UPWARD, HELD TIGHT BY VELCRO STRIPS ON BOTH ENDS. THE SUCTION IS GREAT , NO OVERSPRAY, OR FUMES DUE TO A NEW RANGE HOOD ON TOP. THE HAND INSERTS ARE STRETCHED RUBBER GLOVE MEATERIAL OVER PVC PIPE AND HELD IN PLACE BY METAL COLLARS ON THE INSIDE OF THE PANEL. KINDA LIKE BONGO DESIGN. THE HOOD CAME WITH EXPOSED WIRES SO I HAD TO CUT A POWER CORD AND WIRE IT UP TO THE WIRES SO i CAN PLUG IT INTO A POWER STRIP (AS SEEN) ON THE SIDE. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED TO THE POWER STRIP. LET ME KNOW IF YOU FOLKS HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AND i WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE DETAILS ON BUILDING THIS THING. i PROBLY WENT OVERBOARD WITH THE FRONT OF THIS THING, THE HOOD SUCKS REALLY WELL... ;O), BUT IT'S WORTH IT TO KEEP MY LUNGS INTACT GO TO http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/stefan_ursu/slideshow?.dir=/ce54&.src=ph if this doesn't worki email me and I can email the pics to you. maybe someone can telol me how to upload pics here? thanks :o)
good luck and happy air brushing
