Hi there

I'd like to get your opinion on what acrylic paint you prefer for hand brushing and maybe why you like it

Your input is appreciated

P.S what do you think of Humbrol acrylic and Tamiya acrylic for handbrushingSmile [:)]

Thinning is key. We had a whole discussion about hand brushing Tamiya....

synopsis: must use Tamiya thinner/retarder in about a 4:1 ratio.

The best paints I EVER hand brushed were those made by Polly Scale. I think these paints are manufactured by Floquil now. They went on very well, remained thin, and when applied carefully, dried without noticeable brush strokes.

I used acrylic for the first time on the model I'm finishing tonight--Pollyscale, and it went on very smoothly.
