A silly putty question
Posted by Wolfp on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 1:43 PM
Hey all, just used silly putty for the first time (worked great by the way Wink [;)]) however it has paint and such, of course, spread throughout.  Now, can this be rolled into a little ball once again and used or does it have to go into the circular filer and be forgotten?

there are no silly putty questions, only silly putty answers.  (sorry...)

i've reused painted putty, just mix it up a bit to thin out any of the larger paint chunks.

Ok...I'll give it to you, that wasn't half bad...I actually cracked a smile.  Thanks.

I use it allot, but have not ever reused it. I never wanted to take the chance of chips coming off into the wet paint. It cheap enough [relatively] for me just to use a new batch.

I use something called Blu-tac...Same concept, but a little different than slly putty. Anyway, I re-use it all the time. I just kneed it back into the big ball.
