Paint color for firetruck . . .
Posted by Tatanka on Monday, March 31, 2008 2:29 PM

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me find out if any paint manufacturer makes that "Lime Green" color used on firetrucks and other FF equipment?

Also, the US Forest Service uses a kind of funky light green color I'm looking for was well.

 Thanks in advance!!

Don't know about the Lime Green, but the second one is pretty close to this:

That is Xtracolor X159 "F-15 Avionics Bay Metallic Green/Blue".  It is oil based and takes forever to dry though

Model Master has some bright yellow green's in their spray can line.

Rustolium Painters Touch has a green yellow paint Key Lime that might work.

For the USFS green its not an easy color to match but I've been looking for awhile since my can of touch up paint ran out. I found Rustolium Sea Foam green and Sage to be close, I lean towards the Sea Foam myself.
