I'll make it easy for you. Send an e-mail to me at: ccebula@automaticfirecontrols.com. I ask for postage only as a means of proof of need and sincerity, not because a few dollars will make a difference to me. I'll be in my office Monday morning to check my e-mails. You promise to cover the cost of U.S. postage and you will have the parts you need on their way. No more frustration. I'm not a charity, but you seem like you could use some help. Someday, you can pass the favor along to another person.

Scrambler8, nice of you to step up like that. Paying forward is a great tradition!

Sad thing is, had I known earlier I could have sent him either the adapter or the braided hose (without the trap), along with the DVD on airbrushing that is already in the snail mail. Banged Head [banghead]

Smeagol, thanks for editing your post. Keep the language clean (here AND in real life) and you'll find more people will be willing to help you out. Take Scrambler8 up on his offer and pay him back the postage for the hose. It's a fantastic offer for a very nice hose! At some point in the future (you'll know when) help someone else out. You'll be amazed at how good it feels.

So long folks!

Sorry about the cursing, im frustrated. Let me be perfectly clear.  I ORDERED the adapter.  I am waiting for it to come into the mail.  I said that twice before, first time I didnt mention I was waiting for it to be shipped, second time I did (yesterday)

It was not clear to all of us how you connected the AB to the compressor that made you to complain that the AB was NOT working at the beginning.

I know that female ends do not go into male adapters, but when I open the box and the stinking thing isnt compatable without buying an adapter I get alittle peeved, especially when I went out of my way to get a badger compressor for my badger airbrush, you would think they would be compatable from the get go.

But you forgot to order the airhose that goes between the AB and the compressor.

I put the female end into the male end because I thought 'maybe it will work' as a brief flash of hope before spending more money I didnt have.

If you remember that, ALWAYS, the male GOES INTO the female and their thread size must MATCH, not the other way around, it will save you a lot of grief.

I understand your frustration because you probably spent 3 times more than you could have on the AB and compressor already. The best thing to do now if to spend the little extra $20 to get a proper, badger made, braided airhose when your money situation allows. The cheap plastic one that came with your AB kit will not last long.

When I said I got it, I ment I ordered it online, I have no hobby shops around me, at all, except for one a hour away in new jersey that hikes their prices up almost 300%

If you would have listened to the advises on your compressor questions, you could have save the extra 200% that you paid for the old Badger compressor and spend the money on a better AB and airhose, such as an Iwata HP-CS or a Badger 100LG, instead.

Everything should work fine when you receive the adaptor. Use telfon tape to make leak proof connections. When you return to campus and get more money, spend some extra to get the airhose that I recommended. The whole thing should work well for you until you want a better airbrush in the future.
