Question about touch-n-flow applicator
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, August 20, 2004 4:45 PM
Just wondering if anyone else has had good luck with this tool. I got mine in today and can't get the glue to flow into the glass tube. The only way I could get the glue in the tube was the put the metal tube end in the Tenax and suck through the glass tube, but besides a terrible taste in the mouth, the glue just ran back out of the metal tube. The instructions say to insert the open end of the glass tube into the bottle and the glue will begin to fill the tube. No good. I've shaken it and no workie. Any help?

What the instructions say is correct. If I have any problems with the tool drawing in the glue, I put the tube in a jar of lacquer thinner for awhile to make sure that the tip is clean.

Don't draw the Tenax in to the Touch-N-Flow with mouth suction! ! !
M.E.K. , the active ingredient in Tenax-7, mimics ketones that occur naturally in your body. They are readily absorbed into your system and can make you very sick.Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(]
Nobody wants to suffer permenant nerve damage enjoying their hobby. Please be careful.

I bought mine as a kit and it came with a small bottle with a thin metal tube. You fill the small bottle and then place the metal tube in the open glass in of the Touch-N-Flow.
I have also used the method in the instruction you mentioned and it works for me.
