Blade cover? What's a blade cover? Clown [:o)]

I used to use a block of wood with drilled holes that I would place the hobby knives in when not in use. Problem with that was you would reach across them and stab yourself in the wrist! Now I wrap an elastic around the end. That stops it from rolling around. I also only place it down the same way Jim does.

Now if I can only stop bashing my head against the Ott lamp I have!

So long folks!

The only X-Acto accident that comes to mind right now is when one rolled off my bench. It was like slow-motion or something. I watched it roll, roll, roll right off the edge, then watched it fall tip first......right into my work shoe(thank goodness I actually had shoes on that day) Lesson Learned - I now have those little triangle things on all my knives

Dremel accident - I was using a cut-off wheel in my dremel tool, when the wheel shattered. I got a little peice of the wheel stuck in my face that I was able to pick out right away with minimal bleeding (thank goodness it went in my face and not my eye) Lesson Learned - Always wear safety glasses when working with those kind of tools (like it says on the little sticker on my Dremel)

CA glue accident - Modeling one night, grabbed the super glue and was holding a part with one hand, I don't have three hands, so how was I going to get the cap off the glue? Yep with my teeth. Well I pulled the cap off with my teeth and SPLASH! Super glue all over the side of my face. I quickly spit out the cap and then I realized that I had glued part of my lips together, along with some mustache hairs stuck in there. I eventually pulled my lips apart, but the hairs were stuck to my top lip. Try explaining that one to the guys at work the next day...Lesson learned - Don't use your teeth to pull off the cap on super glue..
