Try to find someone that carries the Olfa line of hobby tools. They have a hand saw that can't be beat; cuts resin cleanly and evenly; does even better with plastic. They have a hobby knife that puts X-Acto's to shame.

As far as a hobby size sander, why not try this. Get a Dremel drill press and dremel tool. Drill a hole in a smooth board that is slightly larger than a Dremel sanding drum. Place the drum in the drill press and line up the hole in the board with the sanding drum. Lower the drum so it is just barely down in the hole. Now you have a Dremel, a hobby drill press, and a hobby size spindle sander!
