Good morning,
I saw an add for this company in an old issue of Fine Scale Modeler and checked out their site. Now I have belonged to subscription services before(music related)so I am familiar with the 'game' so to speak of low prices but high shipping, knowing when to get out etc. I found you kind of have to put some work into making it an ok value, ya know? That said, I am looking to see what any of you folks experiences with this company were like. Friendly? Not overtly trying to rip you off?
Thanks so much
Mike

I was a member of this club many years ago. I thought it was so so. Selection was ok, but like you said prices and shiping were a little high. Considering you can usually find much better deals these days online or at discount book sellers, I dont see any true advantage to joining.2 cents

Yeah, this is sort of what I was thinking I may get as an answer.  I am still considering it by playing 'quick and dirty' meaning joining up and getting the requirements done quick and getting out.  There looks to be a few books of interest so I may be able to get some use out of it.  We shall see!

I picked up Armored Thunderbolt and three other Osprey manuals for $4 plus shipping-- so about $20 all told.  I then bought the commitment book I needed to buy in a buy one get one free deal and am done...not a bad deal for all I got...
