I've been trying to find these and aparently their out of production. This is the only time I've found the second book. The first one seems pretty common though. Any idea if its worth paying this much for both of them?

How much those are worth varies between people.
Are you comfortable with paying the asked price or not.
Not like those are an investment like a diamond, property, etc.
To me its worth it if its out of production, almost double the price if they werent though. I was thinking maybe someone knew of a cheaper place to get them.
I don't think the books are worth that price. All of the pictures / information in the books can be found in other, less expensive books. Books on the P-51 are plenty. The only reason I could see paying that much for those books is if you are trying to complete a D & S collection or something similar to that.
